Court Reporting agencies who urgently want to locate available reporters can now do so on a minute-to-minute basis at this members-only website.
Member agencies of stenos.org will find the reporters who have announced their last-minute availability for assignments today and tomorrow, and specified when they are available:
1. this morning
2. this afternoon
3. tomorrow morning
4. tomorrow afternoon
5. In nine geographic zones where members are available.
Those four time slots cover the most urgent needs of agencies seeking reporters, and knowing the location of the reporter also allows agencies to estimate distance and travel time for the reporter to reach an assignment. One phone call by reporters who call in will instantaneously display all pertinent information about them on this website ie.
1) reporter’s name/telephone
2) when/where available.
3) does real time (yes/no)
4) does doctor depos (yes/no)
5) does expert witness depos (yes/no)
6) provides unedited disk (yes/no)
This service should significantly reduce your agency’s telephone activity by giving it access to those reporters who are actually available instead of randomly calling every reporter in the directory.
